program will not load on computer
I have had foxfire for a while now and tried to install the newer version and neather version will not load. installed and uninstalled both of them with no help. I am running windows xp and went to task manager. foxfire shows up in memory with cpu useage but the browser will not come up. Any body knows why????

Try this. Save you profile off to another directory. Especially save your prefs.js and bookmarks.html files. Rename or delete the old profile directory and create a new profile. If this works, copy the prefs.js and bookmarks.html files into the new profile directory.

(Its running on microsoft reboot it.) When you installed the new version was it a full install or a update, update make sure it was for firefox and not firebird this crashed my wifes mozilla before. Also did you uninstall from your programs or from your control panel/uninstall option. Sometimes when you do the cp/uninstall it leaves ghost traces on your computer and freaks it out and you have to uninstall from programs then reinstall. In your task manger make sure you don't have several mozilla's running at the sametime. On mine I have to endtask mozilla once and a while to get it working again.
