Wiper Motor

When turning my wipers on it makes a really loud noise. Now, I am lucky if they will go on. Any one else have this problem? How much to replace the motor?

Wiper motors were under recall for the Excursion. Call you dealer to see if you VIN qualifies.

Actually it was just the self-parking *cover* to the motor that was recalled, but maybe you'll get lucky and they'll attribute the motor failure to whatever melts/flames in that cover...
