Mpg Going Down
My 92 I6 OD Supercab got a little over 19mpg highway a few years ago and has slowly gone down to 15 + or - a little.
When I first noticed the decline I replaced to O2 sensor-no change. Tune ups,fuel and air filters, tires and pressures and a rebuild have not changed this slow decline. The only code I have ever had has been EGR related and that was only for a short time.
Anybody got any suggestions. I was convinced the old engine was just getting tired and was the cause but the new fresh one has pretty much picked up where the old one left off and continued the MPG decline.
