I have a '99 F350, SuperCrew, V10 that is coming up on 100K. The truck looks & Runs Great. I want to keep it that way for another 100k. What is recommended for the 100k routine maintence, other than whats in the manual? Also I use this truck to haul my 33' 5th wheel for full time RVing. Thanks
I ment to do something at 100k miles but she now has 123,000... Still going...
You could do a rear end lube change, spark plugs, hoses and belt. If you're following the 30k service for the tranny then you should have done it at 90, won't need it again until 120... Gosh, don't know what else to say...
Plugs for sure, they are toast about 80K. Trans and transfer case. Rear end lube even if synthetic. Check rear end vent house for cracks.Check water pump for any signs of leaks. Drain and fill coolant. Replace thermostat. Check your front axle seals at the back of the wheel and were the drive shafts go into the front axle housing. Check front hub vac lines if equiped.
That should keep major problems at bay.
