1988 Bronco II Feedback
Hi Folks,
I just found the site and this is my first use, so please bare with me until I get my feet wet. Any help on navigating the site would be very helpful too !
I have purchased a 88 Bronco II, one owner with 165k miles (XLT with auto trans & manual 4x4 select) . This is my 5th bronco so I'm familiar with them. This one is in very good shape with good maintenance, everything works fine with no leaks, noises, etc.
Is there anything I should look at, perform PM's on etc. ? There may be trends out there on maintenance, problems, and other items that may benefit me. Any item you know about or tricks of the trade, I'd really appreciate hearing about.

I'd keep an eye on that tranny. The A4LD is a weak transmission that will not withstand a lot of abuse. Regular maintenance on it will save you some money on the long run. If it makes 200,000 before it needs replaced, consider yourself very lucky...
