2004 Problems Creeping up

I am having a few issues surface. I have 45K miles on my 2004 6.0L. The build date for the truck is June 18, 2003.

1) The truck idles very rough and at times it smokes heavily during the rough idle.

2) The rear main is leaking slightly.

3) I have an exhaust leak. Smell exhaust in the cab, as well as seeing smoke everywhere during the rough idle.

4) It also seems I am not getting as much from my turbo. The whistle has lessened dramatically.

I am going to head to the dealer next week, but do any of these issues sound common and, if so, what has been the solution?

Thanks.

I thought they started building "2004" trucks after July 1, 2003. They put "2003" engines in until 09/29/2003. Might be wrong about the truck, but I feel sure about the engines. Being a 2003 engine, has it had any of the flash updates?

The exhaust leak has been noted to be from the flex pipes connecting the manifolds to the turbo--might check that, best seen with a mechanics mirror.

Rear main leaks are not uncommon--should be a warranty deal, along with any problem with the turbo.

The exhaust leak can be dealer fixed, easy, a re-flash will fix the idles and surge and turbo boost, or they will find a sticky VGT actuator…the oil leak also can be fixed however hat is the one that is the big pain in the butt
