Has anyone out there had any luck finding a quality woodgrain dash kit for the 04's yet? Most on the internet look cheesy and have way too many peices. I have gotten a leather steering wheel wrap and it was a $40 one that looks professional and not cheap. The only place I really want the woodgrain would be the door control areas, a thin strip above the dash, and around the steering wheel. All the internet ones I could find covered the entire radio, heat control area, and trimmed the cupholders on the 40-20-40 bench. Ew! Anyone got something classy and simple?
I know what you mean relative smaller kits. That's also what I wanted. Could not find any, so sprung for the larger kit. Purchased it from "New York Dash"..I'm well satisfied.. Great workmanship, fit, etc. Got mine in Cherry, looks fabulous, now I'm not sorry I got the large kit..Really sets the truck apart from others, lots better looking than the Lariat.. By the way if you own a Lariat, they have factory color matched sets for them also.. Perhaps if you would call them they would sell individual pcs??? I did not ask I'm happy now with the full set
I took a look at it can you put up some pictures because they didn't show the f150. Also, how realistic does it look? The only peices of that kit I don't agree with are the peices that cover the black radio area, a/c vents, and the center passenger dash and storage handle. I like the doors, drivers area, and air conditioner vent surrounding peices. I only want half the kit and I wish they would sell half.
I like it on the radio, did not put it above glove box don't like it there I have idea were to use it but have not done so yet..Did not think I would like it on A/C vents etc, but I now do.. As for realistic, wonderful, I think this is quality material, to me it looks as good or better than factory.. Furthermore, if you think this material is thick, it's not, It is about 5/32 thick, substanstial, yet thin enough to confirm to curved areas. All outside edges are beveled (rounded) to blend into area to be afixed to. .Have no pictures, will take some and forward..

Reason: mistake
That's cool just add them to your gallery and let us all see. I thought about getting a Lariat but I hate leather. It is hot in the summer and cracks with age if you don't baby it. I think they should make the woodgrain an option on the xlt with no leather.
