Hi, I'm fairly new to these boards & just purchased a 01 X PSD 7.3. I just installed a Diablo Predator. but before I use any of the higher settings, I want to install gauges. It seems my only choice so far is the gauge pod on the door pillar. I have heard of a small digital display, that mounts to the dash. so far I havn't been able to find out much about it. does anyone here know of it? & if so can you provide a link? I like the way the truck looks on the inside , I don't really want to put the gauges on the pillar
Gauges on the pillar are most common, but of late several of the programmers are now putting out units that will display realtime engine performance data. Banks has their 'Six Gun', Edge has their Juice w/ Attitude and Bully Dog has their Outlook Monitor. So for anywhere from 2x to 4x what the standard analog gauges and a pod would cost, you could have that information and the ability to add more horsepower.
I have not yet decided which is best, but I'm about to go ahead with a programmer/monitor combination.
