I'n the wrong place?

Does anyone know what engine may be in a 1992 police crown vic.? I have a chance to get one but if its just a 302 not sure its worth the trouble and I have no way of getting near the car to look in the engine compartment.And if I were to get it besides drive train is there any thing else on the car I could use on my 54 F-100. I already have a FE-390 that I got for nothing so if there is something special under the hood Iwould love to have it!!!!!!!!!

Not gonna swear to this- but I **** think **** by 1992 they were equipped with the 4.6. Nothing special about the heads, cam specs, etc. However, a 4.6/OD swap is always neat.

Color me biased, but I vote for the free 390. Or make yourself a 410 out of it, good stuff!

David,

The 92 Crown Vic did have the 4.6 Police Interceptor model engine.
