Center colsole armrest

Anyone know where I can get a light grey armrest for the center console? I have the style that has the compartment for storing cd's and tapes. The dealer wants $165.00 for it!!

Finding one in a junkyard around here is tough too. Mine is cracked ,the vinyl is thin and wore out. That is the only peice that looks bad in the whole interior. Help would be appriciated!

If all you need is the lid armrest, and it's just the vinyl that's cracked, they're pretty easy to re-cover. Just go to a fabric store, find some vinyl that matches & re-cover the lid.

If you need the whole armrest, try Ebay.

I'm having the same issues as 99 black sport. What is the best way to recover it?? Where do ya start?? Also with mine, its the only prob in the interior. Thanks!!

Fellas try this link. http://www.dw-zone.com/console_lid/console_lid.asp. I purchased the vinyl from a local fabric shop $3.99 a yard, 1 yard of material, a staple gun and fabric glue is all you need. It takes less than an hour to repair.

Thanks for the info.......I think I will re-cover mine. Ones on ebay go for $45 and up it seems. Still a bit much for a part that will tear eventually.Plus I can add a little extra pad underneath!

Thanks man - This is great! I did find one at a junkyard but it was also a bit cracked already and after going to your link, this looks simple! I will head to the store and tackle this today. It is starting to hurt my arm (especially in short sleeve weather) to rest it on my cracked console.
