Holley vs Edelbrock
Holley was king when I was a boy - my dad had a 3 two bbl setup on a Ford flathead that would kick a$$ - but now it seems everyone is recomending Edelbrock carbs.
Which is better for street use? Why do you guys seem to like Edelbrock carbs better?

I have run both, now I mainly run the Edelbrock. Holleys are fine but I seem to be able to get better MPG out of the Edelbrock. The Holleys seem to have a bit more power going by seat of the pants. The Edelbrock seems to be a bit more refined and less tempermental. Basicly after you get them set up you dont have to touch them for tuning again, the Holleys need to be readjusted now and then. I dont know why but thats my experience with both. Have not played with the off road version of Holleys known as truck avenger or Edelbrocks new AVS series. Would be curious about what other folks experience is with the newer ones.
