Croutons

I don't consider myself a picky eater but lately croutons are driving me crazy! Who thought up the idea of adding hard stale pieces of bread to a salad? The only way to get around hard pieces of bread in your salad is to soak it with dressing and then your croutons turn to mush and suck even more. My girlfriend loves them. I think she'd eat a crouton salad if they made sure a thing.

Is there anyone else out there who hates croutons?

I prefer none on my salad. Although sometimes I crave the garlic/parmesan croutons straight out of the box or bag or whatever.

It is just bread that could not make it as a loaf...they are much better in Tomato soup.

I like croutons on my cat food. The wet kind of course. Croutons on the dry stuff is just way too much crunchy stuff.

No crap? What part of France is she from?

I voted YES for the croutons, but same here, I'm also french. Well, I was. I moved to the US the instant I found out I couldn't get an F250. Try croutons in a mustard omelette.
