I don't consider myself a picky eater but lately croutons are driving me crazy! 
Who thought up the idea of adding hard stale pieces of bread to a salad? The only way to get around hard pieces of bread in your salad is to soak it with dressing and then your croutons turn to mush and suck even more. My girlfriend loves them. I think she'd eat a crouton salad if they made sure a thing.
Is there anyone else out there who hates croutons?

i like croutons in my salad.. sometimes my girlfriend packs a salad in my lunch and will put the croutons in a seperate baggie so they stay nice and crunchy... but then she's french

I voted YES for the croutons, but same here, I'm also french. Well, I was. I moved to the US the instant I found out I couldn't get an F250. Try croutons in a mustard omelette.

my girlfriend's from eastern ontario... french-Canadian... hasn't been part of france for a while... but french people are everywhere so don't be surprised if croutons start popping up in your salad
