Question How much torque on FE rocker assembly bolts??

My book doesn't say. What do I torque the bolts on my 352/390 stock rocker arm assemblies to? 30lbs?

Torque each bolt a little at a time until they are all tight. I've never used a torque wrench on mine.

Awesome, thanks guys. I'll bump the motor over a few times then recheck at 45lbs.

I'm still fighting with that annoying tap! I tore it all apart today and replaced my pushrods and lifters. The lifters were only 500mi old but I'm ****ed off anyway. I've replaced everything in my valvetrain now, I hope it goes away now. I found that some of my old pushrods were bent a tad, not sure if that's the tap or not.

There didn't seem to be anything wrong with my old lifters, they wouldn't budge with me pushin' on them.

TAPPING PROBLEM SOLVED!!!!!!

Finally after spending so much money and time trying to figure out this tap that has bothered me for 500mi since my rebuild!!! The stinkin' fuel pump!!!! It was really weak compared to the new one I got. Also, new one has much more power for only $23 from autozone. All smiles here!
