Midwest Meeting

We are still in the planning stages with the Indiana Chapter Members. The location so far would be U.S. 41 Drag Strip in Indiana. Maybe in June or July.

For an Iowa/Illinois/Missouri meeting what month best suits everyone? June - July?

I have to say, Indiana doesn't seem like the most central spot to have a MoIlIa meet!

The Keokuk idea works. (I'd preffer the QC area - don't know where though)

Be mindful of bugs when deciding where! The river rats know what I mean.

Midwest meeting

The Illinois Chapter continues to keep in contact with the Indiana members to set up a meeting at U.S. 41 Drag Strip.

The Illinois/Iowa/Missouri chapters could meet in the Quad Cities or Keokuk area this year as well.

We need to keep in touch and make plans for the where and when.

Thanks, Fastronald - Illinois Chapter Leader

The 3rd and the 10th have events that may be of conflict, otherwise, it looks to be open. Here is one event that I myself would be interested in, and perhaps so would others:
International Liaison Plane Convention
July 21-23, 2000

This is an annual convention of Veteran pilots a liaison aircraft used
in World War II, Korea and Vietnam. Pilots who have restored these
planes fly in. All warbirds are welcome.

Open to public
Held at Lindner Aviation
2500 340 St.
Keokuk, IA 52632
Call (319) 524-3753

Midwest Meeting

I must say fellro86 has been a very active part in the planning of a meeting between the Iowa Chapter and Missouri Chapter. Thus far the poll choice is Keokuk Iowa as a location.

I have been in contact with the Indiana Chapter and it's possible new Chapter Leaders to meet at U.S. 41 Drag Strip in Indiana.

I have just mentioned this midwest meeting to the Wisconsin Chapter as well.

Looks good on many fronts to meet and make strong ties with our Midwest States.

Thanks! Fastronald - Illinois Chapter Leader.

Well...........The meeting with the newly formed Indiana Chapter looks to be set up at U.S. 41 Drag Strip. No date selected yet.

Wisconsin Chapter, at Union Grove Drag Strip. I suggested Ford Days on August 21st.

Iowa/Missouri Chapters, Keokuk City Park, Cordova Drag Strip or a truck stop.

No dates are firm yet. Looking forward to meeting other Midwest Members.

Meeting

The Illinois - Indiana Chapters will be meeting at U.S. 41 Drag Strip on Sunday June the 26th.

I'm hoping to meet with the Wisconsin Chapter at Union Grove Drag Strip on August the 21st as it's Ford Days up there.

We still need to lock down a date location and time with the Iowa/Missouri Chapters.
