19Lb. Injectors

I've heard that these are a popular swap. I am putting the finishing touches on my 300 and have a set of 19s laying around from a 5.0L Crown Vic engine. Would this be a worthwhile swap? It's a stock, balanced, 300 for a 96 F150. I honestly have no real plans to modify it further than a free flowing exhaust with no cats and an O2 sim for the after cat O2 sensor. I'm afraid it might run rich. Any suggestions?

u'll need a fuel pressure guage and adjustable pressure regulator. according to silverstreak he said they didnt help much. also accorings to strangeranger the stock ones are good to about 162-18ish hp depending on the pressure. i would honestly say, u'll be fine w/o them. installing them w/o the reglator will over flood the engine.

I thought so, but I wanted to get a second opinion. I know that my six also runs 45-60 psi fuel pressure, but the V8s run 30-40 psi. I didn't know if I should switch to a V8 pressure regulator if I did the 19 Lb swap, but I'll just leave well enough alone. She won't ever see over 3,500 RPM anyhow.

it uses high fuel pressure to over come vapor locking with the exhaust manifold right under the intake where the injectors are.

Stock motor runs at close to the ideal fuel:air mix. If the air isn't modified, the fuel doesn't need to be.
