Temp gauge
I'm thinking that my dash temp gauge is not real accurate. Is the sender in the block somewhere or in the coolant? Does the idiot light work off the gauge or from a diffenent sender?

Well, those gauges are not so accurate. My personal challenge was replace stock gauges by the Datcon ones inside same cluster. It was a nice job, works very nice and looks better.
Or you can try locate stock gauge and sender, then replace both.
