Hhhmmm. No one is answering...guess it's just worn out?

Any changes to linkage or hydraulics?

I didn't think the travel at the pressure plate would be enough to touch the clutch disc.

It is the clutch disc is what your talking about, right?

Any 10,000 rpm launches?

the clutch has less then 500 miles on it yes the clutch disc no side stepping of clutch or hole shots. it seems that the input shaft must of been binding an caused the damage is what local tranny guy told me . but this is second clutch like I said in less then 500 miles has new flywheel

When the clutch was installed did the mechanic use a trans jack or did he muscle the trans back into the truck. Many discs get bent because the mechanic gets tired and lets the trans hang part way in place while he gets his second wind to push the trans completely in. While it is hanging the only thing holding it in place is the input shaft in the disc. Just a thought. Good luck.
