Most fuel injector cleaners I believe contain large amounts of Acetone.

I'd say that Seafoam, concidering its conciderable prowess in decarboning the engine, would probably be better. However, I have never added Seafoam to my gas tank (or my engine in particular...will try on the 300 first) so I have no direct experience. As mentioned, NOBODY ever complains about Seafoam. Some use it and don't see a difference because they had a healthy engine..that's as much as it will get for negatives.

Lucas's does help and work - and at 3.50 a bottle, its not too bad to at least try. I just bought two bottles today when I picked up my new truck (one for each tank).

Unlike oil treatments that most everybody should steer away from (STP, Slick 50, and others that contiain PTFE), just about any fuel injector cleaner will be safe to use. The most its going to do is drop the BTU's of your gasoline a few points. Most are a solution of Acetone..some have other ingredients. I'd just recommend Lucas's based on my experience. Seafoam ought to do just as good or better!

Can anyone advise as to where I can buy Seafoam? I seem to be having an injector problem as well and would like to try it. Thanks.

You "should" be able to get Seafoam at any of the auto parts stores....Auto Zone, Advance Auto, Shuck's, ...ect). Here, it's a little less than $5 a bottle (actually a metal can). Auto Zone had it on sale last month for $3.99 a bottle, so I picked up a couple.
