Got my issue of Four Wheeler today. Open it up and see an article for a dodge diesel upgrade With the picture of a dodge pulling a f-series truck on a trailer. Are they tring to start a fight or just reduce the number of people that buy the magizine? The f-series is the best selling truck for over 2 decades I think they are aleinating a very large group. I am sending them a email to let them know how upset I am about this picture and I urge other people to do the same.
What is wrong or in any way degrading about a Ford on a trailer being pulled by a Dodge? I doubt if they will receive a deluge of complaints or suffer a substantial loss of subscribers. Are your shorts on too tight?

Well, writing them might make you feel better, but it's pointless. Unless the driver of the Dodge in the picture was flipping you the finger, I'd just let it go man!
Actually, it is not Four Wheeler's fault. They accept advertising from all brands. As long as it is a legal advertisement, they can't stop it. That would fall possibly into a restriction of free speech. Also, if they stopped the ad, if would upset the dodge folks, and then they would stop buying the magazine.
Just let it go, its no big deal. Ford does the same thing in a TV ad, Ford truck pulling a trailer with a Mustang and leaving a Dodge pulling a trailer with a Charger in the dust. Can't they all get along, Ford Dodge Chevy or is it Dodge Ford Chevy or Chevy Dodge Ford, not sure what order to put them in, don't want to offend anyone.
Most car and truck magazines are biased. I've noticed that most of the Peterson publications are highly biased toward GM. Or at least used to be...I no longer buy their magazines. All in all, it's the same old "Car Wars" thing. Been going on for years and probably always will. I'd just put the picture on a wall and toss darts at it.
I think I'm with FordTruckFreeek on this one maybe they just wanted to preserve the greatness of the Ford and not let it stoop to the level of the Dodge.

Oh well... they have also had articles about their project "plain jane" the white superduty and how well it outpowered a dodge they also tried. It works both ways. Let them have their fun, we'll have ours.
Its really no big deal dude. The F-series trucks way anywhere from 8,000 lbs to 12,000lbs thats not much of a load. Although the dodge praobly was overloaded.=)
