The re-flash seems to be working well for the 5.4L. The few posts I've read about the 4.6L re-flash indicate very little, if any, noticable improvement. I'm sure the drive by wire will improve over time like anything else but for now I have lag and I'm not reaping the benefits of improved fuel efficiency.

btw.. I will try the re-flash for myself and report the (perceived?) results.

Not too sure, but I don't notice any different in MPG when I drive Miss Daisy or when I'm hauling butt and to me that's good.. 14 MPG all the time in the city.

I've noticed as well that I get the same gas mileage no matter how I drive, which is a very good thing.

Thanks. My mileage does vary tank to tank depending on how and where I drive.

How is it that the re-flash fixes the 5.4 so well, but still leaves some lag in the 4.6's?
