I believe its a non-renewed certification.
My friend got his certification. I'd have easily passed the hardware side (my specialty compared to him), but the software is my cripple point (my friend's strongpoint over me). He was going into computers so he took it (then joined Air Force and doesn't need it now). I am going into the health field, so I didn't feel like spending 75 dollars out of pocket on the test. =P
