96 3.0L ranger computer problem
I have a 96 ranger supercab 4x2 with 5speed. I have a terrible engine miss that cannot be diagnosed by the computer. I've changed several sensors, and its definatly not a mechanical problem. I can buy a comp on ebay from a 95 ranger 3.0 and I was wondering if anyone knows if it will work in my truck.
My part # F57F-12A650-DLA Large # on computer GUS0
My emission code 5-55F-R15 (this number is found in the door jam)

spark and compression are fine, truck runs perfect above 1500 or so RPM. the miss that is occuring is more like a pulsing as if the engine is being shut off and on 2 to 3 times per second. It's so bad that in low gear the tires will chirp. Thanks for the suggestions.
