My dad gave me the 75 F-250 w/390 for free. It had been sitting for 2 years and needed a new battery, brakes, full tune-up, radius arm bushings, shocks, oil change, and gas - and my dad paid for all of it! I did the work of course. I then drove it from CA to UT, with a camper on it, without any trouble. All it cost me was title/license/insurance (about 75 bucks when I got home)

 

i live in cali and would take it. i'll even let you guys come visit it and give it back if you wanted it. I would love to have another.

My dad gave me his '78 F150 SuperCab 4x4 recently. I had to pay $1400 to have it shipped from WA to VA, but I couldn't have found another truck in that condition for that price. . .so I still consider it free. Pics to come soon.

All running gear is great and it only has bad heads on the engine, and a rusty box. I feel this was close to being free.

 

I got my 78 F-250 4x4 351m c6 trans for free from my step-dad.He keept getting into trouble with it.So they told me to come get it.I've had it for about 5 years now.

 

just picked up a 74 f 250 2 wheel drive with a 390 for free from my parents next door neighbor, but I am going to turn it into a parts truck for my 76, oh well free parts
