79 C6 Problems
I have just put in a diffrent engine in my 79 bronco. It was a real pain to get in. The back drive shaft is out of the truck right now. I figure no problem, I can get it out of the garage by putting it in 4wd. Get out check the hubs check that I'm still in 4hi (was in 4hi when I drove it in the garage). Put the bronco in reverse, I'm not going any where. When It try to shift to shift back to park. I hear a slipping noise. Does it sound like something simple like I need to adust my linkage, or, is it my worst fear that I need to pop the engine out to check the torque converterto see if it became unseated. Could be something in the middle? Please help.
