Temp sensor/hard starting f150

My truck is pretty hard starting, I am thinking it might be the temp sensor. Does anyone know how much resistance one of these things is supposed to have for an 87 f150 302. I'm think that it might be in Haynes or some kind of manual but i dont have any. Also, if there is anything else I should look for that is causing a hard start. thanks.

Have you pulled the codes? That will tell you if the ECT is to blame or not.

Cold should have a resistance of 40.5k hms to 58.7k ohms, and operating temperature should be 1.8k ohms to 3.6k ohms. I don't think this sensor will cause hard starting. ...Terry
