I just can't figure it out. He are some vitals: '94 Explorer...originally had stock fog lamps...had to replace with aftermarket type...now I have also added a pair of PIAA headlight bulbs. What I have been encountering is that when I have both my high beams and fog lamps on simultaneously, after a short period of time, the high beams shut off, however, with fog lamps off there is never a problem.
Unless you re-wired it from the stock set-up, the system is designed so your fogs should only work with low beam and not high beam. Sounds like a relay prob if both are allowed on at the same time. I can check later if you like to see if my fogs shut off when I go to high or if the lights just stay in low beam.
