Last night, I pulled off of K10 onto 435 and when I hit about 2grand, Slider started puttering REAL bad and lost All power, it sounds like a bad spark plug in one of the cylinders, b/c it sounded like it was missing or something, but as soon as I hit the gas more, above about 2300, it was back to normal and fine??
I wouldn't worry about it unless it does it again, then you can start searching. Cars "fart" every once and awhile, nothing to worry about it unless it keeps going
I'm not sure on what engine and all your truck has but a bad coil will do things like that. A bad distributor cap will also do that. If it was a plug I would thing more along the wires. If it was arching onto the manifold or something it would miss.
If it happens again those would be things to look into.
A clogged fuel filter or failing fuel pump would give you some of those symtoms. You'd be shocked at what kind of crap an engine will do when starved for fuel.
