Jeff.... Build Date/VIN ..

Jeff, Is there a way you can you tell me when this f150 was built? I want to buy a truck with a recent build date, not one that has been sitting for 10 or 11 months on the lot..

That truck was built December 16th, 2003.

Jeff, a salesman told me there are no build dates for 04 6.0 F250's in 2005. He said they are all 05 built during 04. Is this right? Thanks for your help.

A salesman told me there was no 2004 build dates for 2004 HD trucks. He said they are all built in 2003. Do the 2005's have build dates in 2004 but not the 2004's? I know this is confusing.

The salesman is lying. Seeing as you were able to custom-order a 2004 Superduty from the Ford website up until not too terribly long ago.

What a shock...a lying salesman. Let me guess, you've busted him out on the VIN# of the vehicle he has on his lot. It's an older vehicle that's been sitting there for nearly a year and he wants to BS you by saying it's still one of the "newest" 2004's?

Find a new dealer...AFTER calling him a liar to his face...loudly...so LOTS of customers can hear.

Of course, I'm a bit vindictive when it comes to someone lying to me.
