Green Filters

Has anyone seen or used these?

I ordered one....should be here tomorrow, so we'll give it a try.

Seen them before, figure they're the same as a K&N except the oil is green instead of red. Should give you slightly better gas mileage, a little more horsepower and a cool sound under the hood.

I got & installed the filter. I got the OEM replacement drop-in filter, not the FIPK. According to the info on their site & in the paperwork that came with the filter, I should see an increase in HP & gas mileage, so we'll see what happens.

And.... you will see more garbage in the drained oil when you do an oil change. (I've already been there. )

These are made a little differently than K&N, which, if I remember correctly, is what you used. The Green Filters aren't made from cotton gauze, the material is more like t-shirt material, so it's less likely to tear & let dirt through. Like I said, I just put it in, so we'll see what happens.
