Lightbulb garage lights(new guy)

Yes im new to the forums. Just thought I would share a little on what i did in the garage. My friend worked a salvage yard and found six cracked widstar headlamps laying around. Well they made it to my house and now hold
one energy saver light bulb for house lamps in each and are mounted
less than halfway up my wall in the garage. scares the heck out of people at night when the walk up to deliver a pizza and i flip on all of those headlamps.

Hello, welcome to FTE!

Interesting use of headlamps.

You could have used 9 regular automotive bulbs and wired them in series on high beams. -hehe

Back in the decadent 80's, I was commissioned to create some event lighting for a DJ service. The client did a lot of car shows so they asked if I could put an automotive theme into what I made. I found a collection of various headlamps, round and square, and opened up the backside to insert a MR16 halogen bulb. I pointed the bulbs backwards to shine at the reflector surface of the headlamps.
