Bench bleeding a master cylinder

Bench bleeding a master cylinder
Is there any reason why I couldn't go ahead and put the new MC on my 78 f150, attach the plastic lines and bench bleed it this way rather than actually on a bench? I don't have a bench vise to hold it while I bleed the MC.

All done, and all four wheel cylinders bled as well. I gave it a slow test drive around the block and the brakes seem to be working just great. Anything else I should look for now that we are done?
