i was on advance auto web site and looked up the fuel pump for my 91 5.8.
the picture they show and the one in the store are the same . does anyone know if this looks like the correct pump. i have not gotten the tank out yet so i have nothing to compare it to. so if anyone has done a fuel pump could you look at the picture and tell me if it looks correct. they wont take electrical parts back so i dont want to buy the wrong one. and i do want to have the parts here when i start.
I cannot help with your ID'ing the pump. But, this will cause some discussion, my experiance with aftermarket fuel pumps is not good. This covers 4 different vehicles and pumps purchased from various makers. They fail fast. A couple within 6 months a couple almost 1 year. I now only use OEM, Ford or GM. They are more expensive, but last.
