My friend was telling me about a trick to change out the sensor with a resitor from radio shack to fool the computer in think thinking the air is colder, so that it would pump in more fuel. My gas milage took a dump about 6 or so months ago, from 10(norm) to 7-8. Could this have cause it? I've replaced almost everything else there is.

Reason: spelling
A friend told me a long time ago that a large change in gas mileage is a good indication that you have a problem. Usually caused by a bad sensor that isn't playing well with the rest of the "family" of sensors. They all work together. Changing the value of one will put the rest of them off kilter. Try putting it back the way it was and see if it gets better.
Sorry, I don't know what to tell ya. All I know about the sensor and computer crap is in my last post, that and that they suck for us guys that don't know alot about them.
I replaced the air sensor, so we will see. As for the tune up, not needed, exept for the cap and rotor, only because I put in a higher voltage coil, so this cap isn't holding up too well.
