ROFL hehehe. Not that I noticed. But come to think of it I know an out of work mechanic that would be great for him lol. Better wait til Ken gets his truck back though!!!
Well I heard from Charlie again today and he said his air impact fell apart last night (Snap-on) and he said he should have my truck done late tonight. I will attempt to pick it up again Wednesday afternoon. I called Enterprise and extended my rental agreement, rescheduled my alignment appointment at UNRUH for the third time, and I extended my vehicle pass one more day. I'm also going to swing by Midas and have my exhaust modified so it isn't hanging down 3 inches lower. I may also receive the 60" Hi-lift Jack which I ordered 3 days after I dropped off my truck, before I get my truck. The accessories for the jack are already at my apartment office.
Man you have got to be on pins and needles right now. Pain in the butt with all the delays but they will be flatly forgotten as soon as you get that monster back.
Yea I think I would be coming unglued by now. As I Ford Tech I can relate to stuff not going as planned and unexpected delays, etc. But this is almost rediculous. I would sure mention a discount or something if he doesn't. I hope you get it back in time for Fordtoberfest. I can't wait to see it, I know it will look BAD!!!
On a good note: Got my truck back last night from Rhino Liners, looks good. Had the windows tinted Monday, they look good. Ordered my Daystar 2.5" leveling kit yesterday, should be here Thursday and I plan to install it Friday morning and align it at work since I took the day off!! Also have my Banks cat-back sitting at the shop, hope to install it this week or Friday morning as well. Jon, with all that can I still be in the STOCK class?
It's friggin HUGE. The truck was parked behind another truck so I'm not sure what they were doing. But it wasn't being worked on so I am hoping it's done
Well, I finally picked up my truck from Fat Boyz at 7:20pm last night. I'm very pleased with the job Charlie did. I wish I would have gotten bigger t i r e s but, these ones will work quite nicely. I have to admit I was disappointed in the amount of time it took to complete the job but after seeing first-hand just how busy he was I truely believed he was doing the best he could on his own since his "Tech" quit. I have to get a new lug from Bosley's tomorrow because one of them came coned shaped. I also need to go to UNRUH and get an alignment and make a trip to Midas to have my exhaust raised a few inches. I feel I should mention Charlie did compensate me for the eight extra days over the original estimate I paid for the rental car. I also have to figure out how I'm going to clean-up my truck tomorrow because I have a feeling I'm going to be a little sore due to getting an extra stripe "tacked" on my sleeve this afternoon.
