The steering column in my 1989 F 150 4x4 is completely worn out. It won't stay in the tilt position I like, and the wheel has a lot of play - as if the bearings are worn out.
I have priced fixing this one, but everyone says it will cost a fortune so I think I'll head to the bone yard to get a replacement.
I was wondering if I need to find one from a 4x4 or if one from a 2 wheel drive pickup will work. Also, does anyone know which years would fit my truck.
