Bed Cover with Bed Extender

Who has or knows of bed covers that work with the bed extender? I hadn't thought of this being an issue until I read somebody had a problem with a cover not being compatible. Further, has anyone purchased this cover? It looks pretty cool (4-way opening, easy removal), albeit a bit pricey. It might be worth the flexibility, though. The bed extender in the picture is exactly the one I have, BTW.

I have the Extang RT (low profile) soft tonneau. My stock bed extender fits easily between the rails. I called on several other brands prior to purchase, most indicated that the rails were too wide to allow the bed extender to work.

extender

I have a 2004 f-150, and have an after market bed extender that works great with a pace edwards BedLocker Cover.

Just trying to figure out how to tap into the power locks. I need to start a new thread to find out.

I had a Snugtop SL low profile mounted on mine, and love it. No problems with the extender at all.

Just my thoughts, but I have an '04 F-150 SCREW 4x4, and there is no way (but I'm only 5'9") that I could access anything from the side of the box...heck, the only way I could grab anything out of it would be to drop the tailgate.

Guess what I'm saying is, I wouldn't spend extra for "4-way" opening, if I'd never be able to use it.

I agree with 3Mike6, however, I chose the automatic bedlocker more for convenience and also for the water tight seal I have experienced. With it being automatic, it also makes it very easy to open and close since the 04 f-150 screws are so high.

I just ran mine through the old gas station carwash (high) power, and I did not take on any water at all.
