96 Explorer ABS ?

96 Explorer ABS ?
I have a 96 Explorer XLT 2wd 5.0 The ABS light came on. Had it checked with two differant scanners from the tool guys(MAC & Snap-on) and it cannot get a reading. They tell me the ABS is not being regonized. No power. I pulled the harness of the module and checked the pins on the harness. I have power so I replaced the module. But the light is still on. I am lost now. Help?

I have heard that the speed sensor on the rear differential may be the problem. Most folks here have replaced it for around 20 bucks. It is located right on top of the rear diff. use i think a 3/8" or 10mm one bolt holds it on.
