customer use wires

customer use wires
I've read here on the forum before that there is some "customer use" wires in the wiring harness that go into the dash. Can anyone tell me where they are located in the engine compartment and under the dash, and possibly what color the wires are? This may save me drilling through the firewall if I can find them. I have a early 99 f350, 7.3 PSD if that makes a difference.

Engine Compartment: Drivers side, up near the top of the firewall, coming out of the wiring loom.
Passenger Compartment: Drivers side, under the fuse panel cover, right above the actuall fuse box.
I can take pictures if needed.
There's four wires, each one indiviually taped off, and all four taped together.
