65 4X4 swap

65 4X4 swap
Was about to order engine harnesses for 65 F100 when thought about my next project, taking 65 body and placing on a 77 4X4 frame. Anyone know if i could use the harness off the 65, or would i have to go with the 77 harness.

65 swap onto 77 4x4 frame
I did one a few years back after the salvage yards telling me it would not work.The biggest problem was the rear wheels were in the wrong location on my 66 swb and the frame curved up too high above the axle for the bed to line up correctly with the cab. The front and rear of the frame rails were too long and had to be shortened.Actually it wasn't that hard And when I finished the swap My 460 auto 4x4 looked factory.Anyone contemplating swap contact me if I can help with advice.
