True dual's or split???

Hey all!!!!I have a 03 SD 4x4 5.4 all stock.I want to know what would be better, true duel's or split from the muffler.I'd like to use a dynomax muffler or muffler's.I don't want it really loud. The sound clip for Dynomax is what I want,a deep sound.I think true dual's would sound better, but I don't know how hard it would be to have it done right.Any thought's would be great!!!

A split is cheaper, true duals usually sound better. A well designed true dual system will give you a little power too.

The removal of any restriction is best. The only problem is, the closer to the engine the restriction is, the more it hurts performance. So going with a new exhaust after the catalytic converters will help you a little bit, it will be mostly for sound. Without removing the catalytic converters, you will not be able to remove the greatest restriction, and also the closest restriction to the motor. If you want higher performance as well, you will need to replace the catalytic converters with their aftermarket "High Flow" counterparts...even though of all the manufacturers, there are only two actual producers, they're all just rebranded off eachother. Anyways, happy trucking.
