Smile First Post...Thanks Forum

I live in BC Canada and have been looking for an Excursion for 6 months....nothing used available here.
Liked the wife's Expedition but I wanted the King
So I did the unthinkable(acording to friends and family) and bought one on EBay.
2000 Limited with V10. Bought it on the 3rd July and it arrived last Saturday...after a lot of "I told you so's"
Came from Florida, just ahead of Hurricane Charlie to Toronto where it cleared customs and then on a train to Vancouver
Perfect condition, drives great and everything works, well almost everything.
The speed control was not working and I booked it into the agents tomorrow to be fixed.
Found this site yesterday and quickly found out about the 4th fuse in the engine fuse box.
Replaced a blown fuse and its fine.
Thanks to the forum...saved me a lot I'm sure.

Still Smiling

John

I'm also a (nearly) new eX owner. I bought one after extensive research narrowed the field to *1* vehicle. The eX. If there is another rig that has the same capabilities, I don't know what it is.

Any way welcome!

Congrats on your new truck!

This forum is great for finding those problems that are usually an easy fix.

Welcome to FTE!

I am sure it is.
It came with a Hurricane Re-entry Permit from the Munroe County Sherrifs Dept.
A novelty here in Canada
