I am restoring my 66 F-100 and would like to make it a crew cab. I was wondering if anyone out there has a cab or knows someone that does. I have read enough to know that some were built by aftermarket companies back then and others were factory. I don't care at this time which one I get, I would just like to see if there are any left to get my hands on. Thank you in advance for your time. Jay Hutchek
I talked with him about 6 months ago, before I bought the Crown off of Artie. Going price then was $4500. He had them listed on this site for a while.
As rare as crew cabs are, they seem to take a while to sell. Artie was trying to sell his for a while before you and I bought them, Ron.

I know, I was surprized he still had. The going price for the two I posted has gone way down from 4500 if my information is correct. If I had the space, I would have gone down to look at them myself by now, and maybe had my own lil convoy LOL!
There was a rough one on ebay a week or two ago, didnt meet reserve, only bid up to $127 if I remember. A solid non runner was also on ebay in AZ and I think it went for $1200 or so? They are rare, but that is a long vehicle and to pe practicle to drive, would need lots of updates. Now my dream truck is a 65-66 crew on a 02 superduty chassis with the 7.3L 4x4 settup! Might as well throw in the new king ranch interior as well!

I have two of them here in Alaska. I have a 66 factory f-350 crewcab and a 64 2 door crew (or extended cab) that came out of the factory in canada and was sent by ford to a shop in Montery Ca. I bought it from the original owner. I don't drive that one but love the 66. I have come across a total of five of them up here but the other three haven't been for sale yet. I try to buy them as they come up. Seems alot of them have made their way up here with the different gov't agencies. Have seen 2 forestry trucks and one railroad truck. Mine were both from individuals, one a farmer and one a traveler but the agency trucks seem to be where most of them went. Got my 66 with 58k orig miles for 1200 decent shape and the 64 for 1000 with 90k miles. Just liked that one because the guy put in a 351 cleveland with a 4 speed toploader behind it. Nice set up.

Interesting...one has to wonder what kind of a shop that was. I can think of two things.
1. Fishing cannery
2. US Military=Fort Ord is just northeast of Monterey..
A truck built in Canada and shipped to the US back then, was rather odd.
