I'm sorry, you'll have to explain a couple of things for me. I'm not knowlegable on auto trannys.
What does a stall do? I always thought that's what you do when you don't know how to use a manual clutch!!
I didn't build the engine, but it's not hard to tell that it has a modified cam. So question #2 would be, how would I know what "stall" to get?
Besides the TV cable that I saw earlier in this thread, is there anything else I'll need for the AOD? Is the AODE a more complicated conversion?

Stall is for drag racing, the tc doesn't kick in until it reaches the stall speed for launching. If ya aint racing use a standard converter.
The E on AODE is for Electronic control, so ya gotta stay with the AOD. The TV cable ("Properly adjusted") is absolute for that tranny.
Clint installed and adjusted one in his truck. He is a great source of info.
