New Trailer
Today, I got me a new trailer, to go with the many others I have, to tow my 45 hp back hoe/loader around.
It is 20 feet long, can carry about 10,ooo pounds, and is low enough to let me load the tractor on without scaring the daylights out of me. My other flatbed is 30 foot bed, high up in the air - about 34 inches up.. driving a back hoe up a steep ramp is something that makes even the most hardy, a little concerned. (for those unfamiliar with back hoes - they can tip over backwards, on steep angles, even with a front loader.)
This new trailer is as high as a bumper tow car trailer - perfect for the application.

Thats nice, I need a trailer like that to haul our John deere 5310 and maby my bronco. (if i get one) We have a 25 foot bumper pull but it has sides on it and its not wide enough. (I had 1 inch on either side of the F-150 when we took it to the body shop. Ended up ripping off one of the cab steps, scratching the door and putting a dent in the bed
)

It is an Elite. They are out of East Oklahoma - I bought my big 24K# trailer from the same place. I think it is going to be really good one, and the cost was great $2800 for a 20 ft gooseneck is good enough for me. The question now is where to tag the thing... Indiana, or South Dakota. It is a pity I don't have an address in Montana - no sales tax.
