Hey, Im 18 year old senior in highschool, and coinicedencely a proud '94 Aerostar 4.0 owner. It was a handme down from my mom, with XLT, RWD, the factory beefed tranny, and as of now, a killer stereo. I was wondering if anyone else was modifiying there aerostars for pimping. Im starting work again, and plan to install neon, and tints. I've got 15'' cragar supersports but i haven't put them on yet, it's still in question wether or not they will fit.
I've been playing with the idea of a lift, i read the short post a while ago about changing chassis, i have no $ for that, think i can goto my ford dealer and get a kit put on?
In regards to power, has anyone put a chip in? i think that's my best bet, i was wondering what it could do to a 4.0
and last but not least, exhaust, i want a good note, has anyone designed a good sounding dual exhaust system for around 200? i'd love an increase in power, but i hear it's hard to get any power from exauhst.
thanks for listening, write back if you've pimped out your aerostar as well

way to go; keep pimpin' the funvan. mine is a stock '93 XL with the 3.0 and a 5 speed manual (hence the funvan moniker). i have a skull shifter **** and vinyl flames on the side. did you install the stereo yourself? stereo store told me it would cost a small fortune to install an aftermarket stereo as the speakers are all run to a common ground or something. any tips?
