I've got a Bowflex and love it. I usually run in the summer and do the Bowflex in the fall/winter/spring (when it's cold out!!). The Bowflex was great for toning but you'll never look like the actors in their commercials unless you do (or have done) some free weights.
i have a bench w/ oly. weights (400lbs) inverted leg press, squat rack, power tower, heavy bag , treadmill, recumbent bike. all on my front porch. 3 years ago weighed 360 lbs all fat. now i weigh 172 lbs 11 % b.f. 42 y/o. i do weights 4 days a week, and cardio 2 days a week. supplements include l-glutamine, l-argnine, creatine.
I have a mountain bike, a treadmill, weights, and an exercise mat, on which I practice isometrics, and martial arts. In the attic I have a couple of other bits; a 'Total Gym' and an ab exercise thing; they are both good things, just no room to use 'em here. The weights and the bike are the most useful tools in my work out routine.
i work out at home but go to the gym @ school with the guys once in a while. For this reason. I have found that when working out at home you only tend to push yourself as hard as you feel like. But when you are faced by your peers or others you dont even know you tend to try to keep up with them... giving you a better workout.
Good for you who have the discipline to work out at home. My local paper always has some exercise equipment for sale because the owners find out that just owning the equipment will not make you fit. I prefer going to the gym three days a week, but the important thing is doing the work, not where you do it. It is a sad fact that many will attend to the maintenance of their truck and ignore the maintenance of their body.

I have a meager set of free weights that I'm desperately trying to build a routine for. I'm making progress...but very slowly. Also have the mountain bike and a mountain of firewood that always needs splitting.
I wish I had weights at home to work with. I need to look in the paper or Play it Again sports, or something like that. I'd love to have a Bowflex, but they're just so expensive.
Stationary bike, Nordic track, free weights, some bike like ab thing, free weights......
5 dogs, 30+ head cattle, few miles of fence line, 6 cords of wood yet to split.
I live on a ship most of the time, and we have 5 different fitness centers onboard. I usually work out 5 days a week...45 minutes of cardio and an hour of weights, only I do one section per day...chest/arms one day, back, shoulders and trunk another day, and legs the third day....
I have a full olympic weight room and a "True" treadmill as well as a "Concept II" rower. I try to lift 2-3 times a week and do either treadmill or rower most of the other nights.
