Stalling Engine

I have a 1991 ford f150 xlt lariat with a 302 5.0 with about 130k miles on it
When i bought the truck i had all new seals put on because it was leaking oil every where here is a list of what ive done

NEW SEALS-oil pan,head gasket,valve covers
spark plugs
wires
starter
alternator
battery
cap and button
starter solenoid
tires and shocks
muffler
front and back u joints
all new lifters

My problem is i just put in the spark plugs wires cap and button and when i sit idle for long i stall out,so i thought i needed different spark plugs(at the time i had bosch platinum 2 in there) so on recommendation i went out and bought autolite 25 which is what i took out but still the problem of stall, never had this problem until i tuned up truck how do i find out what is the cause of my stall????????????And im sure i did not cross any wires but i am gonna double check against haynes. Also i dont hear any like misfires but i do hear chatter that was not there????

your timing could be off. the firing order could also be off. your 302 is not an HO so dont use the HO firing order. also should replace the fuel filter and please check codes. this is uno number thing to do on efi motors. www.fordfuelinjection.com shows how or swing by an autoparts store and have them do it for free.

Also check the TFI Module. If it is getting hot or if you have a bad connection, this will cause ignition problem. Once it cools you can probably restart. TFI is usually intermittent right before they fail. After a while they fail completely.

Could also be the pick-up coil in the distributor. These two items should be replaced at the same time. The pick-up coild is usually overlooked or avoided because you have to pull the distributor and disassemble it to change the pick-up.
