Ok
I got the truck with a rms leak
had it repaired 2 times
must I wait for the third repair to fail befor submiting for the Florida lemon law to take effect?
I have 22,000 miles on the truck, will they buy it back, offer me a new truck?
If so with or without mile adjustments?
Unfortunatly there no one here can forsee the future or make any recommendations with limited info.
Best advise I can offer is read your states lemon laws first to see if your experience has met the qualifications.
Once you have gained this knowledge, read your Ford warranty that deals specifically wuth the DSB process. Then go back to your dealers service manager and begin negociations .
Service manager, general manager, owner, Factory rep. your attorney, then lemon law action. All the while trying to remain firm yet professonal in all of your dealings.
Make sure you have all your documentaion in order.
Of course, if the last repair is successful I guess your just ...well...out of luck ...huh?

No not realy, I wish to keep it, but I'm not optomistic that it has been corrected only replaced. I just want my $41,000.00 truck to be trouble free as it should and I've had my share of other stuff. At 36,000 miles it will cost me $100.00 per visit for this factory defect. I don't like the Oil stains on my driveway.
I live in Fort Luaderdale and i know its not a Superduty but my 98 Ranger had ALL KINDS of problems. TPS Sensor was replaced probably 3 times. Without getting into why it was there all i can tell you is that I filed for lemon law. My dealer we will say is in the sawgrass area. We were told that they have 4 changes to fix THE SAME PROBLOM so your RMS would be that BUT when the 4 is up and you file for the lemon law they are allowed ONE FINAL CHANCE TO FIX. Ford brought in one of the guys who desigend the truck.Sine they were unable to fix and said they have never heard of this problom but to me just because they have no record of it doesnt mean its not happening. All in all he worked it out. Truck ran great for another 80k till i got rid of it at 130k. Now this could have been my dealer giving me the run around getting every chance to not buy back but your at their mercy to an extent. Funny though on a side note. The Head manger of the dealership reasheard me that the truck was safe but when asked it he would let his daughter drive it or ride in it he gave me a big fat NO WAY. that always makes you feel good.... sorry for the long post.
