Question pulling my hair out

i bought a 1988 bronco 4x4, with the inline six. real cheap. had a vacuum problem, fixed that, now i have a electrical problem. brand new battery, regulator, alternater, terminals. i am stuck and not very good at electrical work. what am i missing. the truck will start, ten minutes later it dies. so i thought alternator or battery. replaced both still not charging up. help

Check the ground on the other end from the pattery. If you don't have a good ground, then the engine will just die.

i agree with billybob. i would just replace the battery cables all together with some nice 4gauge wire. wirebrush the frame where the neg cable contacts this will insure a proper ground
