New Again

I'm sort of new and sort of not. I joined FTE on 07/04/01 as OKMIC1, but haven't posted in a long while. Then I couldn't remember my password and OKMIC1 is really an old username that I don't use anymore so I opened a new account. I stopped posting before because my old pc with a dial up wasn't really working with the forum. Now I'm up to date and on cable so it loads a lot quicker. I am absolutely amazed at how much this forum has grown and changed. Amazing.

My name is really Mike, but I go by jonah on most of the forums I belong to. I was raised on Ford products. My step-father has owned dozens of them in his business and private use. My dad owned all Ford trucks too. In the last 20 years I've owned almost nothing but Ford products.

Here's my current line-up:
1978 Ford F-150 Ranger SuperCab with a 460
1976 Ford F-150 Ranger XLT with a 390
1998 Ford Explorer XLT 4x4 with a V-6

I'm currently in the process of selling off the '78 so I can concentrate on the '76. The '78 is sound mechanically, but it needs more body work than I want to put into it, so I moved back to the '76. It's got that cool two-tone paint and the body's in pretty good shape. I could see driving this truck for a long, long time.

My other interests are politics (which I'll steer clear of here) and tropical fish, especially cichlid species. I'm a moderator on one of the larger cichlid forums.

Anyway, glad to be back. I'm sure I'll be here pretty often as I work on my new (old) toy.

I've got to have one of the weirdest post to time on forum ratios ever. Approximately 25 post in 38 months. I'd better get to work catching up.
